The PL 250 Electromechanic Tripod Turnstile provides a basic and robust access control solution designed to secure various locations worldwide, especially those with intense passage flows. Integration: Operates bidirectionally and can be integrated with any kind of access control system like a card reader, biometric reader, remote control unit, or push button via a simple dry-contact.
Passage Operation: Once the access right is granted, the user should touch the arm slightly to make it rotate. After the tripods complete one turn, it is automatically locked. If the user does not use the passage right in 15 seconds, it will give a buzzer warning and lock itself.
Indicators: Status indicator LED lights are located on both sides in green arrow and red cross shapes to show allowed passage directions.
Emergency Safety: In case of a power cut, the turnstile is unlocked to allow free rotation of the arms in both sides. As an option, a drop-arm mechanism can be included; upon receiving a signal from the emergency system, the blocking arm will drop to provide a completely free passage lane for quick evacuation.
