Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center (AASSM), a gift from Izmir Metropolitan Municipality to Izmir, was opened on December 27, 2008 as a result of a project competition.
Tevfik Tozkoparan, the architect of the project, transformed the former trolleybus garage and maintenance workshop into an artistic activity center with a total area of ??approximately 30 thousand square meters.
Since the day it was opened, the weekly concerts of Izmir State Symphony Orchestra, many performances of Izmir State Opera and Ballet, IKSEV Izmir European Jazz Festival and International Izmir Festival, which has an important place in Izmir’s art life, and 1 Festival Ahmed Adnan Saygun Art Center, hosting Izmir; Fazıl Say, Idil Biret, hosted many conductors, artists, bands and orchestras on their stage.
The tender for the security and control systems of Ahmet Adnan Saygun Art Center remained in our company Polimek and the installation of the security devices was successfully completed.
